Hi! My name is George Brierley. originally from a little village in Kent, i have come to De Monfort in the hopes of becoming a Games Artist. Fresh from foundation boot camp i am here to learn, better my skills, make friends and to have an awesome time!
The game art course for me was a no brainer. I love to draw. I also love to play games. Being paid to draw things for games, i mean it doesn't get much better than that. I decided to come to De Montfort because of the high levels people are working at, even from the first year.

My main interests apart from the whole game and drawing things would have to be music. My dad has been a musician all his life, and i grew up listening to the likes of the Blues Brothers, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and a host of others. There's little better than playing along to one of your favourite songs at full volume (head banging optional). Another interest of mine is biology and physics. My mum has been teaching me PHD food science since i can remember, so need advice on your diet? I'm your man. I've been interested in physics ever since i read a the book "Parallel Worlds" by Michio Kaku. although the book focuses mainly on cosmology, it opened my eyes to the large world of physics.

My dream job is to be the lead concept artist at Valve. Valve is the best gaming company in the world, they makes games like pixar makes movies, with love, care and attention to detail. Unfortunately being the best games company in the world means they only employ the best people. Which means im going to have to work HARD.
